Fulham - Dempsey Puts Pen to Paper!

It was a topic that`s been mentioned by many a site in recent weeks but now it`s official.

Clint Dempsey has extended his contract with Fulham Football Club until the end of the 2012-2013 season ending any hopes clubs had of luring him away from Craven Cottage.

At twenty-six years of age the American international is in the prime of his career and should have no problem in adding to the 14 goals he`s scored in 81 Premier League games.

On behalf of all at Vital Fulham, our congratulations go to Clint, he couldn`t have signed for a better club.

top man top man this man not only works hard but has some skill as well i think he could even play as a striker and if need be zamorer with his link play could play in mid field in a glen hodel mould strange you might think but stranger things have happened

Great move retaining him, he will score a few goals too.

He's an absolute key player for us, great news.

I like Dempsey, but I think he is getting very run down. Internationals, Europa, and the beginning of EPL may take their toll. Hopefully we can bring in some players and rest some guys on occassion. Fulham were very fortunate with only limited injuries last season and I would hate to see us start to get bitten by injuries due to the short break and packed schedule.

Great to see him sign on, especially after the Everton speculation earlier in the Summer...

best signing of the summer if you ask me!
