Fulham - Interest in Villa Man!

Fulham - Interest in Villa Man!

It`s a common thread on many an internet site at the moment but it is a thread we here at Vital Fulham would like to comment on.

After failing to lure Jonathan Greening to Craven Cottage due to West Bromwich Albion playing 'silly-sausage` when it comes to a reasonable price, it`s being widely reported that we`ve switched our attention to Nigel Reo-Coker.

Many a source are reporting that a £4 million deal is being set up to allow Reo-Coker to return to his London routes from Villa.

Already an accomplished Premier League player, the twenty-five year old, seems to have fallen a little from grace at Villa Park and has, quite often, been played out of position.

Personally, I`d urge Roy to go for this one as Reo-Coker could bring a little steel to a central midfield area that is lacking in depth this season.

£4m! Not a chance, couldn't see MON letting him go for less than £8m. Maybe Hangeland could come the other way!!!

Yeah. I think reo plus cash deal might be the offer on the table. You would be getting an excellent player though... He has got a bit of the short end of the stick at Villa. When he filled in at right back against Man U, he completely marked Ronaldo out the game. His vision and passing has been quite poor often but he will run and tackle all day.

i think roy might be able to turn him around, but that would be a season long project, no? and i certainly don't want him plus cash for hangeland... i'd say no to that off the go... i think roy would appreciate his versitility, especially competing on two fronts... but not worth losing hangeland...

Villa fan here...I can see this happening actually, as Astriel said, he hasnt had the best of luck at Villa, hes been played out of position a lot and hasnt had a fair run in the team. Given a regular place in a team he will be a good player again. For 5m i'd let him go but only IF villa have a replacement, dont want the same happening as with Zat Knight...

If we get him for £4mil, it would be a bargain. What a buy it would be.

IF we get Jenas or one of the Real players we are linked with, then I could see NRC moving on... if not, no chance as we need numbers!

Reo-Coker would be nice. Don't really know how he'll fit in here though.
