Fulham - Those Damn Internationals!

Fulham - Those Damn Internationals!

The folly of the manner in which internationals have impeded upon the start for the 2009/2010 season is perfectly illustrated by the case of our very own Clint Dempsey.

Dempsey, who has forced his way into being an automatic choice as far as Roy Hodgson`s starting eleven goes, is expected to be picked in the USA team to play Mexico tonight.

If so, it doesn`t take a rocket scientist to deduce that Clint could be a little jet-lagged, a little weary and possibly not certain to partake in the season opener - damn internationals - don`t you just love them!

Well, international players have to play international games. Price to pay for those kind of players.
