Fulham - Dempsey New Deal!

This time last year, after Roy Hodgson had signed Zoltan Gera, there were many who feared for the Fuham career of Clint Dempsey.

Suddenly, our previous top scorer form the previous season; looked to be surplus to requirements.

But, being made of stern stuff, Dempsey knuckled down, got back into the team and never looked back.

Recently his performances for the USA, in the Confederations Cup, have seen his name linked with a move to several other clubs, both here in England and on the continent.

Therefore, it`s pleasing to report that Clint has agreed to put pen to paper on a new four year deal that will see him net a pay rise whilst also tying him to Fulham for the foreseeable future.

Congratulations to all involved in securing the deal.
