Fulham Contest with Everton for Elm!

Fulham Contest with Everton for Elm!

With the new Premier League season lonely a matter of a little more than a week away, Roy Hodgson will have to move smartly to wrap up and integrate any new signings.

Also, with the Europa League qualifying tie second leg to take care of, we suspect that there doesn`t appear to be enough time in the day for Roy to contend with everything at the moment.

Today, the tabloids carry features on a player we`ve already been linked with this season, Rasmus Elm.

According to The Sun, Roy travelled to Sweden to watch the twenty-one year old international in action this weekend, with a view to securing his services, however, over in the Daily Mirror, a different picture is painted with that tabloid claiming that Elm has asked Everton for a weeks grace with regard to completing a move to the Merseyside club.

It`ll be interesting to see where the lad ends up!

I can't see this happening with such big interest now. Although he did say something about it 'not being about the big clubs'. It'll be interesting to see how this pans out.

I'm not sure about this one. I want him and all that, but I think Roy should be concentrating on other areas first. I wouldn't cry if we didn't get him, put it that way.
