'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Fulham - Poulsen Rumours on the Wane!

One player we`ve been linked to this close season is the Danish international Christian Poulsen.

Rumour has it that Roy Hodgson wanted to take the Danish international on loan but that other parties, involved in the move, favoured a more permanent deal.

Subsequently, it all appears to have gone cold on the deal, well that is until the players English representative, Lee Anderson, further stoked the fires by implying that two other Premier League clubs, namely, Everton and Liverpool, are now showing an interest, remarking, to Tuttosport,

'It's complicated trying to find a club for Poulsen in England."

'The most recent interest has been from Liverpool and Everton, clubs that would be able to afford the player."

'We have spoken, but it was preliminary contacts which have not developed.'

So should Roy take the plunge and other the player a permanent deal or could we do significantly better?

i don't know, so i'll defer to roy on this one... is he better than etuhu and would he be ok with not playing every game?
woodysweats
Poulsen is definitely a better player than Etuhu, who might have improved, but is still nowhere near Poulsens class. Juventus bought him because he was performing briliantly for Sevilla, and if he can produce that kinda form again, he would be an amazing signing.

I really hope we will get him, fingers crossed.
JKW
I guess he wants one last cash-laden move!
Al Billy
but he could do a real job for us and Scandianvians have a habit of doing well over here!
