Fulham - Zamora Stars in European Win!

Were you watching Phil Brown?

Well probably not seeing as Hull City were playing in some half-hearted tournament in China but he`ll no doubt be well aware that his potential target, Bobby Zamora, played a major part in our fine 3-0 win over FK Vetra.

Bobby scored the first and can claim assists for the other two, proving that whilst he may not be the most prolific of scorers other areas of his play are top notch.

Whether Bobby has any inclination to revisit a possible move to Hull City is unknown but Roy Hodgson was quick to heap praise on Bobby after his performance last night remarking,

"Bobby had a lot of criticism last season, which comes when a striker doesn`t score goals and misses chances."

"But his link-up play with Andrew Johnson was outstanding and I couldn`t be happier."

Something tells me any chances of Zamora plying his trade next to the Humber instead of the Thames are rapidly diminishing!

yeah i'd have to agree... it seems like if a deal was going to happen, it would have happened already... i can't say i'd be too disappointed to see him stay...
