'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Keeper Rejects Fulham Move!

Its being widely reported that the young Slovakian keeper, Jan Oblak, has turned down the chance to move to Craven Cottage.

Oblak had been in England having trials with Fulham but has preferred to take up the option to stay with his current club Olimpija.

The teenager has signed a three year deal with the Olimpija Director of football, Simon Seslar commenting,

'His only thoughts at this moment are with Olimpija.'

'Yes, he went to London and spent some time with Fulham and they were very satisfied with him, but he wants to play for Olimpija for now. "

'He even signed a new contract with us - it is until 2011.'

Here at Vital Fulham we`d like to wish the young lad well in his career.

might make sense to keep track of him and let him develop at home... keepers you don't exactly have to bring in too young anyway, right? they tend to have a long sporting career... look at VDS and Schwarzer...
