'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Fulham - Hodgson on Hangeland Situation

It has always been said that every player has his price, whether he plays for Manchester United, AC Milan or Fulham!

You only have to look at the recent transfers of Kaka and Ronaldo to accept that fact.

Therefore, perhaps we shouldn`t be too shocked if Arsene Wenger does a little more than window shop down our way.

With Kolo Toure now wearing the sky-blue of Manchester City, Wenger knows he needs defensive cover.

It`s fact that Roy Hodgson, out in Lithuania with the squad ahead of our Europa League qualification game has bee quoted on, remarking,

"European football or not, if a club like Arsenal come in there`s not much I can do about it."

Whilst we may strive to better ourselves and with European football the carrot being dangled, it would logically appear that when it comes to football there truly is a hierarchy of clubs that players desire to join.

if he goes, he goes... and we'll make quite the healthy profit from it... but he would need to be replaced, and cover would need to be brought in as well... we're short in the centerback department, and we need quality to be brought in.

I just have this feeling the call of the gunners will be too much to ignore!

I wouldn't be too sure, I reckon he'll stay, Wenger doesn't like coughing up large amounts of cash!
