Fulham - Murphy Wanted by Stoke!

Fulham - Murphy Wanted by Stoke!

Surfing the net last night, struggling to keep myself amused with half the Vital network troubled by ills, I stumbled across a rumour that shocked me.

It related to Danny Murphy!

Supposedly, Stoke City would like our club captain, Danny, on their books as player coach.

Now we`re not privy to whether Danny has any aspirations relating to moving into a coaching / managing scenario but we`d hope that was all in the future.

After playing a major role in making last season so grand, finishing in our highest ever position and also qualifying for the Europa League, surely it`d be churlish for Danny to walk away from Craven cottage now wouldn`t it?

i think he's very happy here... it would certainly be gutting to have him walk away...

Apparently that ***** Mcleish enquired before and Roy said NO! Danny will stay for sure, he is loved by the fans, key to Roy's plans and wouldnt leave a European team near the end of his career.
