Fulham lose out in Crouch Race!

Fulham lose out in Crouch Race!

All looks lost in our, reported, desire to sign Peter Crouch.

The tall striker now looks set to join Spurs in a deal that is worth £13 million, thereby rejoining the same gaffer, Harry Redknapp, who took him to Pompey in the first place.

Now were not going to cry over what might have been, instead we`ll simply remark that with Spurs being overloaded with strikers, Crouch will have plenty of time to sit on the old substitutes bench and plan his wedding to the lovely Abbey Clancy!

As for us, it`s time to move on!

£168,000 per inch! yeah right. Lets go shorter, cheaper and undoubtably better.

We haven't paid 13m for him. Thats just a load of nonesense. 10M is more accurate.

that's still far too much - he'll be nothing but a bench warmer!
