Fulham - Zamora and Hull to Talk!

Fulham - Zamora and Hull to Talk!

Yesterday the tabloids somewhat jumped the gun!

Sadly, we were taken in by their reports that Hull City and Bobby Zamora were miles apart when it comes to agreeing personal terms over the agreed £5 million transfer.

That would appear to be the case seeing as the two sides have yet to even meet.

Yesterday evening the Hull City boss, Phil Brown, confirmed that talks between Hull and Zamora are due to start today and that Brown will be looking to sell the club and the area to the striker.

He also had a word or two for those who are questioning his wisdom in buying a striker who struggles to get goals at the top level, remarking,

Fans may question how prolific Bobby is but his hold up play is exceptional"

If things go smoothly today, there`s a fair chance a deal could be done quickly.

As usual we`ll do our utmost to keep you informed.
