Fulham - Hodgson Interested in Crouch!

The race to snare Peter Crouch continues to provide a few headlines.

With it being reported that Crouch has already had talks with Sunderland, after the Wearside club had agreed a fee with Portsmouth, there is still no definitive news as to the striker`s decision.

In fact the delay in any news being leaked could prove to be advantageous to Fulham with Crouch possibly thinking over a return to the capital rather than the wilds of the north east..

Naturally, both managers are keen to pursue a deal for the striker with our own Roy Hodgson being quoted as remarking, in The Sun,

"Crouch is a player we`re interested in but so are others."

Where as his immediate rival in the deal, Steve Bruce, in the same tabloid, is quoted as remarking,

"We hope we can put something together, as he would be the type of player that would signal the way we want to take the club forward."

Could this prove to be the most interesting chase of the summer?

I think there are equal or better options for much less money.

you have to think he'd choose fulham over sunderland in terms of football quantity, right? i'm not saying i want him, but i mean, wouldn't it just make sense that he'd want to play in europe?

Is that why Sours are gonna hijack him ? Seriously fellas I can't believe he's even considering a move from Pompey - I' tell ya if he joins Fulham I hope you don't have any problems on or off the pitch as Crocuhy will be running away like a little scared child whose had their pocket maoney taken away..
