Hull Waiting to Tie Up Zamora Deal!

With a fee having been agreed, a fee in the region of £5 million, we`d imagine the Hull City manager, Phil Brown, can`t wait to further progress the deal.

The only trouble being that it`ll have to wait until the weekend with Fulham currently wrapping up their Australian itinerary before returning to London.

Speaking about the matter, Brown is quoted in The Sun as sating,

"It is my intention to meet him over the weekend to discuss personnel terms and put him through a medical."

"Am I optimistic? Put it this way, in the transfer market these days you just never know with a deal until it is signed and delivered."

What is the perma-tanned one going on about!

There`s nowt wrong with our Bobby!

i think he means, maybe someone will come in and swoop him up... don't think it's a dig at bobby's health...

He's probably hedging his bet as Roy was quoted as saying that the deal was not yet concluded and we might actually need to keep Zamora, after all. And frankly, how does Zamora feel about all this. He could queer the deal himself (if he's so inclined). I just want this thing put to bed quickly. We need to start signing some players.

Of course it's not woodysweats, and Fulham might still pull out if no replacement is coming.
