Perth Glory 0 Fulham 5

After the hiccup of losing their first game of the tour, Fulham finished off the Australian jaunt with an emphatic 5-0 win over Perth Glory.

Having beaten Melbourne in the previous game, 3-0, Roy`s team carried on their good work outclassing the opposition.

Most of the damage was done by Erik Nevland who netted a hat trick in the space of eight minutes with the other two goals coming from Andrew Johnson and Andranik.

In front of a crowd of 14,903 Fulham took the lead in the 16th minute when Johnson opened the scoring.

The brave Perth resistance finally crumbled though in the second half. Nevland scored the first of his three n the hour mark turning home a cross from Eddie Johnson.

His second came four minutes later when the Norwegian scored form just inside the box and he celebrated a hat trick in the 68th minute when he chipped the ball over the advancing Perth keeper.

The scoring was completed in the 83rd minute when Adrian Leijer supplied Andranik with a lovely pass that was drilled past the keeper.

All in all a successful nights work and we now await the arrival of the team back in London.

EJ isnt really thinking about competing for a roster spot is he?

Maybe. He's made a decent showing on the tour. Still think he'll go out on loan again. Nice seeing some of the peripheral players make a decent showing.

maybe he's trying to impress so he gets on a better team on loan... hey, now with ej leaving, maybe we'll fill from within the team... ;)

good to see Erik the Viking in good form so early on!

Do you guys think Nevland could become a starter for you next season? Or is he not really that good?
