Fulham - Closing in on Greening!

Fulham`s quest to sign Jonathan Greening moved up to a new level yesterday, according to reports in both The Sun and The Daily Mirror

After, reputedly, having had bids of £1.8 million and £2.2 million rejected the tabloids are reporting that Fulham are now prepared to up their bid to 2.5 million and also throw into the equation our out-of-favour forward, Hameur Bouazza.

Greening, who has reportedly told the new West Bromwich Albion boss, Roberto Di Matteo, that he wants to remain in the Premier League after West Bromwich Albion`s relegation to the Championship, would represent Fulham`s first major coup of the transfer window, if the deal were to go through.

If I didn't know better, I swear we're preparing for life in the Championship. Why would we want him?

not sure... he's 30 also... 2.5 seems too much for him...

Agreed, but sometimes I wonder if some of these moves are even Roy's decisions.

West Brom have dismissed our bid - thank the lord!
Al Billy
let's hope they keep doing that...
