Fulham in Zamora Mystery!

Fulham in Zamora Mystery!

Last week several popular tabloids ran articles implying that Hull City had made a firm bid for Bobby Zamora.

Indeed, quotes supporting the idea, reportedly from Phil Brown, implied the deal was on once Fulham had found a replacement striker.

Well that doesn`t quite appear to be the case anymore.

With Roy Hodgson down under with the squad, he`s commented that he knew nothing of any such bid offering the following quote to the media,

'I don't know anything about it.

'I spoke to the chief executive on Friday and of course, I spoke to him in the morning, and he may have something different to say when I speak to him later. At that stage there had been no offer for Bobby Zamora."

'I don't know if that is just paper talk or they have made a bid for him. At this moment in time I couldn't confirm or deny it.'

Surely, in this day and age, if Hull had made an offer then it could have been e-mailed to a member of Roy`s party!

Intriguing!

We're about 2 weeks away from Europa League and a month away from the PL. Anyone else think it's time to make some moves?
