'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Fulham - Ex-Player`s Injury Woes Continue!

I know the very mention of his name divides the community but I still have fond memories of the player even if the manner in which he left us was acrimonious.

But, you could argue that his departure proved to be the catalyst that allowed us to kick on and have our highest ever finish in top flight football whilst also qualifying for the Europa League.

Off course the man in question is Jimmy Bullard.

Bullard, now residing on the banks of the Humber, is recovering from a second career threatening injury and has spoken out about the timescale of his intended return and is quoted in The Sun as remarking,

"I don`t think I`m going to be a million miles away at the start of October."

"As long as things keep going well it will be around that date. We`ll have t wait and see. But I`m looking to come back and hit the ground running."

"Hopefully I`ll be back stronger than ever and then I`ve got my whole career ahead of me in a Hull shirt."

Good luck Jimmy, it`s never nice to see an ex-Fulham player struggling even if the manner of his departure left a bad taste in many a mouth.

that why our club was so good to him... we never demanded a recovery date. if anything, we protected him from fans and the like that would have pressured him into coming back too early...

If I never read another article about him again I'll forget him all the quicker.
