Fulham - Crouch Rumours Intensify!

With us having already reported that Hull City are poised to splash circa £4 million on the signing of Bobby Zamora, rumours are already abound as to who the cash will be spent on.

The Daily Mail has, today, kick-started the Peter Crouch rumours by implying that the money from Hull will go towards funding a move for the tall front-man who is desperate to get away from the south coast club.

With a fee fixed at some £11 million, it would represent a serious outlay by our club, but is Crouch the player to spend that sort of cash on and can he take us forwards?

Anyone care to offer any thoughts?

Rumour everywhere in Pompey but we sill haven't heard anything concrete depending on which paper you read he's going to Sunderalnd, Blackburn, Fulham, AC Milan, Aston Villa or staying put .. We do know POmpey have recieved offers but he reamins 'officially' not for sale .. whatever that means.. My view is that he'll be playing at the Cottage next year..

i dont know why, but id actually quite like to see him at the cottage next year, i think the little and large combo looked promising with Zamora, but if we can sell him for reasonable money and bring in Crouchy then who knows, could work out... Dont really like his price or wage demands but if Roy thinks he is worth that and decides to put his money where the medias mouth is then i wish him all the best. In Roy we trust
