Fulham - Davies Injury Worry!
Having missed the back-end of last season with a foot injury, it was hoped that our Welsh international, Simon Davies, would be available for the start of our Europa League campaign.
Unfortunately, that might not be the case. Davies has not gone with the remainder of the squad on their Australian pre-season tour but has stayed back in London with Roy Hodgson remarking,
"It was better he stayed back to work on his recuperation."
Let`s hope that Davies does get fit soon as he gives us more options.

I think he's close to losing his starting role, anyway. This won't help. We only have a few weeks 'til Europa Cup begins for us. I don't think we're ready.

i agree sam... i do remember reading an interview where his said that optimistically he was hoping to be back for the start for the start of the season... worst case scenario, he'd miss a couple weeks... so hopefully it's still just recovery from the surgery and not an injury relapse...
