Fulham - Looking at a Younger Riise?

With the net cast far and wide for possible signings to bolster our 2009/2010 campaign, we`ve uncovered a link that could see a familiar name grace the Premier League again.

One news source has implied that Fulham are the Premier League club who are tracking the younger brother of the former Liverpool player, John Arnse Riise.

Bjorn Helge Riise is currently on the books of the Norwegian club Lillestrom but has impressed with some superb performances over the last twelve months.

A midfielder, he could quite easily vacate one of the spaces left by the recent departures from our squad and, according to the Lillestrom director Torgir Bjarmann, depart with the following glowing reference,

'It is always the market that decides, but both LSK (Lillestrom) and Bjorn Helge have ambitions to seal a deal.'

'He is working hard and gives everything in the game. Something like that is noticed and Bjorn Helge is guaranteed to be sold. The only question is when.'

'Bjorn Helge has produced top performances. That is good not least for himself but also for the fans and the club. Our goal is to sell him.'

However, he wouldn`t confirm that Fulham are the Premier League club who have made an enquiry!

If his mum is his agent like she was his older brother's agent we should stay clear because of the snub under Tigana.
