Fulham Target Crouch Interests Aston Villa!

I`m not the only one who believes we`re verging on the edge of madness considering spending an absolute fortune on Peter Crouch.

Yesterday, our site featured an article by one of our guest writers that echoed my thoughts.

Therefore, it`s a little pleasing to pick up the tabloids this morning and read that, as well as AC Milan and Fulham, Crouch has another club looking at procuring his services.

This time, Aston Villa are considering a bid with doubts existing about their own giant striker John Carew.

No forgive me if I`m wrong but hasn`t Crouch already had a spell at Villa Park?

Perhaps he`s looking to go back to make a better impression!

I smell something here; maybe Villa will pull out of the chase for Crouch to ease the passage of Hangeland to Villa.I think that most Villa fans would prefer Carew to Crouch, assuming it's an either/or situation, and not being greedy why have both?

I'd be happy with both at Villa Park. I love Carew and was gutted when David O Dreary sold Crouch for £2m. Idiot!
Adam Deuce
£2m - now we'd pay that for him :-)

I've always rated Crouch highly, but we need a number of solid signings to get ready for League and Europe. If the numbers that have been thrown around are right, spending so much on Crouch will leave us scraping bottom to round out the squad.
