'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Oh good god, no....

An article in the Guardian today has tubby Newcastle striker Mark Viduka linked with a move to Fulham.

In a quote that I would have made up if it wasn't already in the paper, Viduka's agent said

'He's feeling fit again and he's hungry'.

Which is presumably what made him tubby in the first place.

If this move happens, I'll gladly eat my hat. Assuming Mark hasn't eaten
it first.

Mark Viduka has fantastic ability but dont sign him he is a disgrace to his profession!!!

Sign him, but on a pay-per-goal basis. He can't be trusted with cash in hand.

i simply don't want him... he's too old...
woodysweats
Old, but still more dangerous than Zamora, and he's a decent link-up player.

After 2 years at our place you'd be mad to take him. £6m in wages for about 24 games and 7 goals I think.
BaldEagle
He needs to be playing in a good league to make the Australian team for the World Cup - so he is willing to take much less money. And he will be free. I think he is a perfect player for our extended season - a quality player who does not want to start every game. He can play the Zamora role but actually score goals.
Lamby
I agree for with Lamby Viduka cleans up when he plays for Australia and i rate him highly but he'll only sign fr 1 yr cause 1nce the world cup is over hes coming to the A-league
