Fulham - Life in the Spiderman Deal?

Spiderman could be about to descent on Craven Cottage.

After the tabloids predicted that Fulham were interested in signing the Newcastle player, Jonas Gutierrez, it was though that the relegated star might well prefer the FC Porto option given by the very same tabloids.

Apparently not though!

Gutierrez has himself dismissed all Porto talk remarking,

"I only know about the rumours, nobody has contacted me with this option. To play in the second division in England is not a dream, but it depends on Newcastle."

Sadly, I get the impression we`re not going to see this move materialise as sources close to us suggest the player will be heading back to mainland Europe.
