'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Fulham - Pantsil on Next Season!

This time last year we were all pondering what lay in store for us.

We`d escaped relegation by the skin of our teeth and we wondered whether we`d only delayed the inevitable.

Now, a year on, we`re in heaven. We`re celebrating our best ever top flight campaign and we`re about to embark on a Europa League campaign.

It`s difficult to imagine things getting any better but in the world of football today, you have to aim higher, you have to want to better yourself each year, if you don`t others just pass you by and the slide down the slippery slope starts all over again.

John Pantsil, one of the successes of last season, has commented on such things remarking to the media,

"We had a really fine season the last term but every time you look to improve so hopefully we should do better than our 7th place finish."

"Key to our season will be how we can keep our feet on the ground. After what we did last season it is important we play at a similar level."

"On a personal level I just want to play good and improve on what I consider my best season ever in the Premiership."

Can we go better than 7th heaven?

considering the extra fixtures that we have this year, i don't expect to do better than 7th... i want to a) avoid relegation b) finish top ten... that's about it... anywhere in the top ten and i will be happy...

I'll agree, it'll be a lot tougher next time around

Man City and spuds might challenge us this season.
