Fulham - In For Crouch?

Gathering my senses this morning, after another night of heat induced interrupted sleep, and tuning into all things Fulham on the internet, I couldn`t help but notice that the name of Peter Crouch is being linked to Craven Cottage by all and sundry.

Reading several of the articles, and getting later by the minute for work, the media conclusion is that Roy Hodgson has identified Crouch as his main summer transfer target as he seeks to keep the momentum from last season going.

Crouch, currently at Portsmouth, is rumoured to be seeking a move after becoming disillusioned with the way things have turned out down on the south coast.

His Premier League experience, having done the rounds as they say, would make Crouch a viable proposition and I, for one, would welcome the signing.

My only reservation would be the price.

Would I be correct in implying that a fee of around £7 million to £8 million would be considered practical?

yeah i think that's about fair... we'd have a once england international attack of big man small man...

He worked well with Defoe, so why not Johnson? I think he may be a step up from Zamora. I also read he was looking for wages of $70,00 a week though and that's not our style is it?

We payed too much for AJ. Let's not make the same mistake with Crouch.

Crouch is over-rated, why do you think he's had so many clubs?
