Fulham - Quick Hits

The official Fulham website has confirmed the departures of Moritz Volz, Collins John and Leon Andreasen.

It also gives recognition to the contributions of Olivier Dacourt, Giles Barnes, Julian Gray and Karim Laribi, which one assumes is acknowledgement that they won`t be returning, either. I`m a little surprised not to see Chris Baird`s name on the list.

On another front, the Croydon Advertiser is reporting that Crystal Palace have been offered Fulham striker Eddie Johnson. The story suggests that the player is interested in a loan. Good luck with that Eddie!

Anyone surprised? Anyone else you`d like to see heading to the exit?

I think Stoor could disappear this Summer, Baird and Kallio could possibly depart. Seol and Andranik will be given the chance to impress during pre-season and I hope they do well.
Love ya Volzy. That man will always be a Fulham great. It is fantastic to finally see Collins John go. He became a lazy, useless waste of space. Leon was fantastic in steadying the ship whilst Hangleland got used to English football so that is a loss.
yeah, i'd say leon's the only real loss, and not even that great of a loss... i was hoping we'd get rid of johnson for good...
three out and only one in - now that is worrying!

Gotta ask- Have Palace ever seen Eddie play?

Along those same lines - has Eddie seen Palace play?
Baird's contract runs till 2011. Remember, Sanchez did sign him so he's probably on a massive wage as well...Not really dissapointed to see any of them go but Volzy will always be remembered fondly. Wouldn't be suprised to see Eddie go out on loan, Roy said last year he was loaning him out to get him used to the style of football.
I thought Baird was out of contract. http://www.goal.com/en/news/11/transfer-zone/2009/4/12/1183353/out-of-contract-players-in-england-free-to-move-this-summer
Oh well. He needs to leave, regardless.
lol, couldn't agree more. Who in their right mind would buy him though?
