Fulham - Gudjohnsen Deal Latest!

One of the more interesting rumours bubbling along relates to the future of Eidur Gudjohnsen.

The Barcelona (ex-Chelsea) player is rumoured to be leaving the Nou Camp this summer and the name of Fulham, along with that of other Premier League sides Everton and West Ham, continues to be linked to the player.

So far, Eidur has said little or nothing about his intentions but his father (and agent) Arnor, has done so, remarking,

"I think that Eidur will leave Barcelona, but I am not sure where he will end up playing next.'

'There are many possibilities open to him and apart from Aston Villa, Fulham and Everton, there are also clubs in other European countries that want him.'

Although many of you have suggested his age may count against him, just as many of (in our poll) believe he`d be a great acquistion.

Fingers crossed everyone!

He would be great for you. And Hogdson must love his work ethics. A grat guy and player. Still, a bit weird for us up Fulham Road.

He's certainly not at the top of my list, but I wouldn't mind acquiring him.

exactly... not choice, but would definitely help... don't worry lindy, we'll be sure to play him against you lot...

Loan at best, permenant move-no thanks. High wages most likely for an average player.
