Fulham - More on Doyle!

We`ve already reported this week of how Fulham are, reportedly, interested in the Reading striker, Kevin Doyle.

We`ve also noted that many of you are hesitant to pay the rumoured £6.5 million transfer fee currently being quoted.

In fact our current poll, whereby we asked you to vote on who, out of the three transfer targets we were linked with yesterday, you`d prefer to sign, Doyle lags considerably behind the likes of Martins (Newcastle) and Gudjohnsen (Barcelona).

Therefore, if you`re looking for some crumbs of comfort about the Doyle interest waning then look away now.

The Daily Mirror is reporting that Doyle will be holding talks with Fulham later this week!

it doesn't make sense! isn't he a player in a similar mold to aj, more or less? he's not as quick, and is probably better in the air, but he's certainly not a big holding striker... who would he push out of the starting eleven? would he be happy with a mostly european campaign?
woodysweats
steer clear, he's not the striker we should be looking for!
Al Billy
specially not at that price!!!

I'd much rather see him join than Gudjonson. He is a replacement for Zamora for sure, he is strong and good in the air. Look at how he pairs with Keane for Ireland, he will partner AJ if he signs.
AlexFFC
not worth the reported fee, half of that fee I'd say get him, but over 6 mil is crazy
donfulham
I guess he preferred big-nose McCarthy to us then!
