Fulham - Links to Italian Striker Growing!

We reported last week how Fulham had been linked to the Italian U21 striker, Aquafresco, well today the scent just got a little stronger.

Aquafresco, currently playing in the European U21 Championships, in Sweden, has remarked to a British media source,

'Fulham called me on the phone.'

'Each offer must be considered. I could also try to go abroad, as some other players have done.'

Although our hearts would love to see this young talent at Craven Cottage, our heads suggest that not even Roy Hodgson`s good friendship with the Milan president, Massimo Moratti, could swing this one in our favour!

Let`s hope we are wrong!

it doesn't really seem like he wants to come, but i hope so...

I think you have a great chance of getting him on loan. He is finding it hard to get the nod at Inter because of established players Mario and Ibra, so the club needs to find him games or it will interfere with his development. He hasn't had many opportunities at Milan but he was scoring for fun at Cagliari before he joined them.

If anyone can persuade Milan that a season for Fulham will improve their player, then it is Hodgson. You're very lucky to have a manager as well known and respected as he is.

that would be a good option - a loan move!
