Fulham - The Latest on Scharner!

Fulham - The Latest on Scharner!

The transfer of Paul Scharner, from Wigan, continues to generate headlines.

It looks as if the Austrian has plumped for Fulham, ahead of Aston Villa, but before we all start rushing to get his name printed on the back of our new shirts, be warned, he could still end up elsewhere.

His agent, Valentin Hobel, has been quoted as remarking,

'There is still the possibility he could go to Germany with Hamburg.'

He's as much a character as Bullard and he thinks he is as good as Beckenbaur....he'll be a good signing though, but remember he is a centre half NOT a midfield player which he thinks he is...mad as a hatter
