Fulham - Derby Issue Barnes Ultimatum!

Fulham - Derby Issue Barnes Ultimatum!

It`s something that just refuses to die isn`t it?

Despite Fulham, apparently, ending their interest in the Derby player they had on loan for a large chunk of last season, rumours are still rife that something is bubbling along under the surface.

In fact that little something, bubbling along, has forced Nigel Clough, the Derby manager, to come out and insist that he`ll not be letting Giles Barnes go out on loan again and that any interested clubs will need to find £2 million to buy him.

Personally, I`d not take the risk for that amount but what are your thoughts?

no thanks... we had him half a season and he could get fit enough to get on the pitch... leave well enough alone... unfortunately i feel like he's a talented lad, but he can't stay on the pitch...

Can't we take him on loan again?

Clough is not allowing another loan to be considered. It's buy or nothing. Love to have him, but won't lose any sleep if it falls through.
