'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Fulham - Another Dream Dies!

Every so often a rumour hits the sports pages that grabs you by the balls.

When the January transfer window was open one such rumour did exactly that.

Now I don`t even know if there was a hint of truth in it or whether it was all fiction but the thought of the Leeds United youngster, Fabien Delph, coming to Craven Cottage lit my face up.

I secretly hoped that having failed to do the business in January that we`d do it this summer but as is often the case with dreams, they get broken!

Today I opened the sports pages to find that Delph has been snapped up by Everton for a fee that could eventually reach £4 million.

Delph arrives at Goodison having been voted the Football League Young Player of the Year.

Am I disappointed - you bet!

Leeds are denying they've even received an offer for Delph since the end of the season. There's still hope, I guess.

There is indeed still hope. According to one of the more reliable guys on TiFF we have made an offer for him. Lets hope that this is true!

Leeds have NOT revieved an offer yet. Everton are interested, yes, but have not made their move yet.
