Fulham Linked with Naval 1º Maio Midfielder

Several media outlets are reporting that Fulham are preparing to offer French midfielder Sekou Baradji a two-year contract. The 25-year-old currently plays for Naval 1º Maio in the Portuguese Liga.

Baradji had a previous stint the Premier League in 2005 with West Ham, though he was almost immediately loaned to Reading where he played very little. He is quoted as saying,

"I went abroad very young, so I made a lot of mistakes."

"Now I am mature and ready for a fight. I love the Premier League, it is the best."

'My destiny is to return there and show my qualities.'

Sky Sports describes him as an "anchorman," which I`ll assume means that he`s a holding or defensive midfielder and one of the Portuguese Liga`s "hottest properties."

Ok… if you say so. Something about this has Andranik Teymourian written all over it!

I think we need to recruit those who are tried and trusted - let's not leave nothing to chance!
