'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Two Internationals on the Radar

The press are now linking us with a move to sign Hertha Berlin Serbian international forward Marko Pantelic and Bayer Leverkusen's Swiss midfielder Tranquillo Barnetta who have both voiced intentions to leave this summer.

Pantelic, 30, has been linked with a number of clubs, however the whites are reported to be leading the chase.

Both are quality players; Pantelic has the strength and (most importantly) finishing ability to be a real asset, however he does have some serious attitude problems.

Barnetta is however very much an unknown to me. I signed him on a free on FIFA 08 for Fulham and he was pure class, but then again so was Eddie Johnson.

So what do you guys think of these links. Its promising to see the calibre of players rumoured to be heading our way are at a higher level than we`ve had since the Tigiana days.

Tranquilio Barnetta is supposed to be very good, but I only saw him at Euro, and he was not very impressive, to say the least.

Pantelic is a good striker and exactly the sort we need for Europa League. Not very impressed by Barnetta. I'd rather take a pass on him.

Tranquillo - sounds a right mouthful doesn't it!
