It`s official! After elongating our poll giving you sufficient time to think and rethink, we finally have a winner in our Vital Fulham quest to elect a Player of the Season!

After providing you with a selection of fourteen these were narrowed down to three with Brede Hangeland, Mark Schwarzer and Danny Murphy emerging as the three leading candidates.

The competition has been fierce but we`re now in a position to reveal the results.

So, with that imaginary drum roll setting the scene, here are the results:

1st - Brede Hangeland 38%

1st - Mark Schwarzer 38%

3rd - Danny Murphy24%

That`s right! They just couldn`t be split!

Schwarzer had the lead earlier today, but some last minute activity pulled Brede even. I can live with a split, I guess.

yeah to be fair they both played pivital roles this season, as did murphy to that matter... but our defensive prowess really was due to brede and schwarzer locking things up in the back...
