Fulham - Pascal Contract Extension!

I`ve got to admit it`s caught me by surprise!

After being a bench warmer for all of last season I was amongst those who thought Pascal Zuberbuhler would be on his way this summer.

It appears I was wrong!

News has filtered through that Pascal has, due to hard endeavour in training, been awarded a new contract until the end of next summer.

Speaking about it he`s remarked,

"I am experiencing a fantastic period of my career. I belong to an historic club in London, within the greatest league in the world."

"I can feel immense respect in my work from the Fulham directors. Roy Hodgson is a great person. He is the one who convinced me to stay another year."

"Obviously I`d like to play more often. But at least I know what to expect. I have a lot of fun training. And I have been on the same wavelength with Mark Schwarzer since day one."

Great to see someone so happy in their work isn`t it!

Play more often... how 'bout at all! I think there must be a high shelf at the training facilities that no one but Zuberbuhler can reach.
Samboney
that picture nearly hypnotised me!
Al Billy
looks like he's happy taking the dosh then!
Al Billy
anyone know roughly how much he might be on?
Putney
Is it possible he's staying to become a coach eventually?
Edens
Football Manager seems to put him on earning about 4K a week I think. I guess this means stockdale will go out on loan again next season.
AlexFFC
I think there was some talk of Stockdale returning on loan to Leicester, again.
Samboney
i think stockdale cut use another year of cutting his teeth... and i can see pascal getting more (i.e. some) time this year with all the fixtures we have in the upcoming season...
