Fulham - Scharner Keen on Move!

With Wigan having lost their manager, with Steve Bruce having moved to Sunderland, the club could also be saying goodbye to one of their more influential players.

Here at Vital Fulham, we`ve already registered our apparent interest in Paul Scharner and now it seems that the Austrian player, who can play in midfield or defence, is keen to move to Craven Cottage with him being quoted as saying,

'The club bosses want to take Fulham forward. They were almost relegated the previous year, but they have qualified for the Europa League and are clearly moving in the right direction."

Come join us Paul, you seem to be a decent sort of chap.

He gets my vote, all mean and moody looking!
Al Billy
He's a decent player, but not for the valuation that was quoted before.

Bruce wants to take Kapo and de Ridder with him to Sunderland, according to reports. But there's no talk of him looking to take Scharner as well. I wonder why? Just because someone is available doesn't mean he is the right player to buy. Roy is canny and he will sort the wheat from the chaff.
Sindbad
Still dont see where he'd fit into the side.

He'd replace or back up Etuhu, and provide cover in defense if we ran into injury problems. I don't have a problem with Scharner, but not for £6m. There are plenty of other player who can fill that role for much less.
Samboney
is £6m considered too much then?
Al Billy
most definitely - I'd go as high as £3.5m!
Putney
He's too much of a flight risk as he makes a fair few errors and isnt composed enough. I'd be interested to see what Wigan would quote us.
