Brazilian Full Back Linked to Fulham

Although the transfer window doesn`t officially open until July 1st, it`s still interesting to see who we, as a club, are being linked with.

Today, The Sun has us chasing a left back. Now whether it`s to replace Paul Konchesky or to give him some assistance as we face what is hopefully a lengthy campaign in the Europa League and a successful Premier League campaign, we`re not sure.

But, the lad in question is twenty-one years old, possibly one for the future, and currently plays in Portugal for Nacional and goes by the name of Felipe Lopea. He`s also Brazilian by birth which could bring some interesting samba skills to Craven Cottage.

As usual we have competition for his signature with Birmingham City supposedly showing interest. Although we`d hope that if it gets to that stage whereby he visits both clubs London will surely blow away Birmingham!

We`ll do our best to keep you abreast of any developments.

Does he take free kicks?

How do I know :-)

we need to replace konch... after watching a review show of this premier league season, i was reminded of all his blunders this year...

The best info I can find suggests he scored 1 goal this term, so if he takes free kicks, he must not do it very well.

We should be looking at his teammate Nene. The 25-year-old Brazilian lead the league with 20 goals in 28 appearances this season.
