French International on his way?

French International on his way?

According to the Daily Star Roy is considering a move for Andre-Pierre Gignac to beef up our squad for Europe next season.

The Striker, 23, hit 24 goals for Toulouse this season, and picked up his first cap for France.

The story goes on to state that Gignac is desperate to push for a place at the World Cup in my home country in 2010, and he sees a move to the Premier League as a great chance to prove he can play at the top level.

I can't say I know anything about him except he's scored a shed-load of goals (average of almost 1 in 2) and is brilliant on football Manager!

I've only ever seen highlights of the guy, so I know nothing about him other than the fact that he lead Ligue 1 in goals (by seven). Earlier this month, he committed his immediate future to Toulouse. From what I read, it was unequivocal.

Well if that is true then the star hasgot it very wrong,or we have to pay ALOT of money for him. Beat Elmanders record for the club in 19 games this season!!
