Fulham - More Hangeland News

After his comments relating to not being interested in leaving Craven Cottage this summer and being more interested in sampling European football with Fulham, Arsenal appear to be switching their attentions elsewhere.

After supposedly lining up an opening bid of £8 million to tempt Fulham, the latest rumour suggests they`ve switched their attention to Joleon Lescott of Everton, good news all round we`d say!

Lescott's great if you want a defender who can score, but in terms of pure defense, Hangeland is better. I guess it depends on which direction Wenger is going.

Not saying I want Hangeland to go. Just saying Lescott brings you one thing and Brede brings you another, and it'll depend on what Wenger identifies as the bigger weakness. Just not convinced we're out of the woods yet.
