Fulham - Player Review of the Season (4)

Clint Demspey is the fourth in our series.

Dempsey has added a crucial attacking threat to our team this season and his goals from midfield have been invaluable.

Although Zoltan Gera, newly bought from West Brom, started the season on the left, Demspey soon became favourite again, although the two seemed quite similar with their combination of goal-scoring ability and midfield play.

Dempsey really broke into the team last season where he finished as our top scorer with six goals.

This season he beat his number of goals by one, scoring seven, including two against Man City away. Especially considering our slight lack of goals from up front, every one of his goals has been of great help to our cause.

This season, Dempsey has continued his good form for Fulham with his skillful trickery and finish-ing finesse. I`m sure he will be itching to make his mark in Europe next season.

glad to see the american earning his way onto the pitch...

He's done well this season. Greatly improved. My only complaint about Dempsey is that he tends to disappear sometimes. I'd like to see him reach double-digits in league goals next season.

that would be nice but I fear his days are numbered!
