Fulham - Barnes Interesting Birmingham!

When Giles Barnes was brought to Craven Cottage, on loan, by Roy Hodgson with a view to a permanent signing, it was viewed by many as a decent signing.

As a youngster Barnes had excelled in a Derby County shirt and a glittering future beckoned. Unfortunately his career has been blighted by injury and it was hoped a change of surroundings, Craven Cottage, would invigorate his career.

Sadly, apart from a few appearances in second string football, it`s been much the same story during his stay at Craven Cottage and Roy Hodgson has, we believe, decided not to exercise the option to keep Giles.

But, all is not lost for the exciting youngster, the rumour-mill is suggesting that Birmingham City, newly promoted to the Premier League, are looking to take a chance on Barnes.

Here at Vital Fulham we`d like to hope that Giles gets a little of the luck that appears to have deserted him in recent years and that a possible move to St Andrews kick-starts a career that has floundered.

Really hate taking a pass on Barnes, but potential only gets you so far. If he can't stay healthy, we can't use him.

yeah it's a shame he looked very good when he came on against utd for derby
Oldwolf
is it true he's still only 20 years old?
