Travelling to Newcastle?

Travelling to Newcastle?

For those of you making the long journey north, to Newcastle, we have some directions that might help you.

If you are going by road,

From the A1(M) Leave the A1(M) at Junction 65 and travel westward on the A1, skirting Gateshead. After approximately three miles leave the A1 and turn right on to the A184 towards Gateshead. Follow the signs for Newcastle and cross the river on the A189, the Redheugh Bridge. Continue straight ahead into St James Boulevard. At the roundabout, turn left and St James Park is directly ahead of you.

From the A69 Continue on the A69 to its end and at roundabout pass over the A1 and carry on to the A186 towards the city centre. After approximately two miles turn left on to St James Boulevard and follow directions as above.

If you are going by rail,

Newcastle Central Station is about half a mile from the ground. St James Metro station, on the Tyne and Wear Metro network is right outside the ground, and is just two stops from Central Station.

Happy travelling folks.
