Fulham - Another Johnson at the Cottage?

The 'Daily Grapevine` has selected another potential target for Fulham to case!

Before the season has ended we`re being linked with a considerable number of players and the latest to be linked to our famous white shirt is Oli Johnson.

Johnson is a twenty-one year old currently wondering what the future holds with his current club, Stockport County, in administration.

In a way it`s typical of how this young strikers career has gone because up until last October he was playing for the wonderfully named, Nostell Miners.

I guess the theory the tabloids are relating the potential transfer to relates to the administrators selling off the best talent for whatever cash they can recoup. It must be a heart-breaking time for supporters of Stockport.

We`ll report further if anything comes of this latest rumour.

I feel sorry for the fans of any team faced with financial hardship, as it's rarely (if ever) the fan's fault. Nowadays, it's not even the teams fault many times; just the economics of football.

If we went for a stockport player i'd rather go for Tommy Rowe, if he still plays for them. Sad time for Stockport, always thought they were a decent club.

i have to say that i like this guy. good finisher, strong when winning the ball and good in da air. also scored quite a few goals this season for swansea. buy him!!
