Fulham - Kamara Truly Back in the Mixer!

After the praise Roy Hodgson had given Bobby Zamora all season, I must admit to being a little shocked to see his name not on the team sheet that started against Villa.

Does he have a slight injury?

Nevertheless, his replacement, Diomansy (Joe) Kamara can look back on his efforts with great pride.

As well as coring two goals he was also directly involved with the penalty and after missing the first two -thirds of the season through a nasty injury, now appears to be back in the groove.

After the game, in his traditional interview, Roy Hodgson praised Joe, remarking,

'I don't think people realise we didn't get him back until late January and early February."

'He tore a cruciate knee ligament playing for Senegal in a World Cup qualifying game and has done extremely well to get back playing as quickly as he has."

'He took his chance with both hands. It was a terrific performance. He was a model of tactical discipline, an area that has given us cause for concern in the past."

As we`ve probably said before but we will say it again, nice to have you back Joe.

Great performance for Kamara. I don't think he can do it every week, but like Nevland, he's earned a shot.
