Fulham - And Brede`s Replacement Could Be?

Please say it isn`t so!

With the tabloids keen to fill column inches one downmarket Sunday rag has come up with, what we hope, is a most implausible suggestion.

Whilst accepting their statement that Arsene Wenger could snaffle up Brede Hangeland this summer to alleviate his woeful defensive problems, please, please tell me that their suggestion that Roy Hodgson would seek to replace him with Anton Ferdinand, from Sunderland, is well wide of the mark!

Too many decent central defenders out there to mess around with this guy. Though, it could be worse. They could be talking about Zat Knight or Titus Bramble.

He's not in the same class as Brede, however what do people think about taking a cheeky punt on Malbranque, he's still a very good player, especially if we get Europe which is looking likely, I said nine from nine and the weekends performance against Villa makes me think we can do it. Come on you (European) whites
