'If It's Football, It's Vital'

The Riverside View - Villa (h)

I think great describes the whole day.

Great weather, great atmosphere, great performances and most importantly a great result!

As I said in my last article, this type of win is savoured more as we aren't a massive club expecting to win every game. After a poor performance against Chelsea, they turned it around in true Fulham style to dispatch Aston Villa.

The defence wasn't as rock solid as usual but hey, they've done so well the odd mistake is allowed now!

Danny and Dickson dominated the midfield from start to finish and Nevland and Kamara caused problems all day long up top, a good sign that our back up strikers can cause mayhem.

I've also been calling on Roy to at least give Julian Gray a quick run out so it was nice to see him at least get on the pitch.

A great day with European football now back on. Everything made all the sweeter by the news of Hull's defeat...............

Who the f*** is Jimmy Bullard?

Had a great day down your end, fantastic little ground there, friendly fans and in a great location, I couldnt get over that I was having a beer at halftime practically in the river.....shame aboutthe result but I will be back next year....however might be bit of a different experiance in the middle of winter

You know, I have been thinking the same thing about that last line for a bit now. I thought I'd notice it more. I could care less now! And now Hull is teetering on the brink!

We're so much better off without Bullard than any of us could've known at the time. I was never a big fan, but it's amazing how we've come together as a team since his departure.
