'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Fulham Tracking Irons Ace!

With the majority of the cash being splashed on forwards last summer it appears that the 'Daily Grapevine` favours a similar approach this summer.

With the transfer window not too far off being opened the Daily Mirror has already put forward the name of one suitable candidate.

Gary Hooper, a twenty-one year old playing for Scunthorpe in League One, has being scoring for fun and, if the aforementioned tabloid is correct, is likely to become a 1 million target for Roy Hodgson this summer.

But, here at Vital Fulham we have to say that if the move were to materialise Hooper would be nothing more than a squad player, or have we read the situation wrong?

I think he would work out well. He's strong and quick. 1M would be a bargain. Think i'd rather go for Simon Cox though.

Zamora, Johnson, Nevland, Kamara, and at a push Dempsey... I only want another striker if one of them leaves or becomes majorly injured and / or we spend money on someone quality who can both hold up and score

Simon Cox has scored just as many goals as Hooper but for a struggling side!
