'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Fulham Linked to Charlton Youngster!

A youngster, over at 'The Valley` is making quite an impression despite his side having been relegated from the Championship to League One.

Jonjo Shelvey may only be seventeen years of age but already the big guns are sniffing around looking to prise him away from Charlton.

This morning three clubs find themselves featuring in press speculation and Fulham are amongst them with Spurs and Newcastle also being mentioned.

Whether Jonjo remains at Charlton will, no doubt, depend upon the size of any bid submitted. Charlton, after relegation, will have to re-assess their financial situation and may be forced to sell to rebuild.

If so, I`d like to think that Fulham would be well and truly in the race to snap up this youngster wouldn`t you?

ALTHOUGH HE MAY FEEL HE'S GOT MORE CHANCE OF BREAKING INTO OUR TEAM THAN AT SPURS BUT THEN AGAIN IF SPURS GET HIM THAT COULD RELEASE HUDDLESTONE!

Personally, I reckon he'll stay for another two seasons at Charlton!

Unlike Giles Barnes for example who has proven his talent over a few seasons, he could turn out to be a flash in the pan. I'd say, wait it out and see how he does for Charlton over next season.
